McAdams says he's raised more than $500,000 for congressional run

SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams said Tuesday he has raised more than $500,000 for his run against Rep. Mia Love, R-Utah, since declaring his candidacy in mid-October.
McAdams, a Democrat, also said his campaign has $469,000 in cash on hand at this point in the race for the 4th District seat in Congress that will be decided in November.
Ninety-five percent of the contributions came from individual donors, and 90 percent is from Utah, he said, with the median contribution
