Man stabbed with scissors dies nearly a month after attack

SALT LAKE CITY — A man who police say was stabbed 12 times in the neck by his neighbor in an unprovoked attack on Nov. 15 has died.
Salt Lake police confirmed that the attack on Linton Livingston, 67, is now being treated as a homicide investigation and they will ask prosecutors to file amended criminal charges against Dyann Mariel Hernandez, 23. She is currently charged with attempted murder.
