Man stabbed while handing out samples at mall, police say

WEST VALLEY CITY — A food court employee at the Valley Fair Mall was critically injured Saturday after police say he was attacked while handing out food samples.The incident occurred about 4:50 p.m. The man, whose name and age were not immediately released, was handing out samples outside the mall, 3601 S. 2700 West, when three people approached him and attacked him, said West Valley Police Sgt.
