Man returned to Utah to face 2014 sex abuse charges

SALT LAKE CITY — A man wanted for allegedly sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl more than five years ago has been returned to Utah to face charges.
Steven Dale Morrey, 39, of Taylorsville, was charged in 3rd District Court in 2014 with three counts of sodomy on a child, a first-degree felony; and aggravated sex abuse of a child, a first-degree felony.
Morrey was recently arrested in San Diego and extradited to the Salt Lake County Jail over the weekend, said Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke
