Man killed in crash after hitting fire hydrant

WEST VALLEY CITYA 58-year-old man died after driving into a fire hydrant in West Valley City on Friday, according to West Valley City police.
Easa Mohammed was driving a silver minivan south on 1595 W. Vivante Way around 2:45 p.m., according to West Valley City Sgt. Anthony Chapman, when his vehicle traveled through the intersection and struck a tree and a fire hydrant.
