Man killed in auto-pedestrian accident was lying on road

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS — A man hit and killed by a car was "moving in and out" of traffic and even lying in the road before being hit, according to police.
Nathan Brown, 36, was hit about 7 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Fort Union Boulevard and Highland Drive. The SUV that hit Brown left the scene. But the driver called police a short time later, said Cottonwood Heights Police Sgt. Ryan Shosted.
