Man hospitalized, brother in custody after Orem shooting

OREM — An Orem man is in jail after police say he shot his younger brother in the chest Thursday.Arthur Henry Freek, 60, was booked into Utah County Jail Thursday evening on suspicion of attempted murder and domestic violence in the presence of a child.Prosecutors have not formally charged him with either crime. It was not immediately clear Thursday afternoon if he had an attorney.The shooting left the 53-year-old victim alive but in critical condition. He was in the hospital Thursday.Othe
