Man, dog fatally shot on Bangerter Highway

WEST VALLEY CITY — Police continued Friday to look for the people involved in a fatal shooting on the Bangerter Highway.
About 9:30 p.m., the driver of a minivan and a small dog were shot and killed near the intersection of 4100 South and Bangerter Highway. The minivan was headed south on Bangerter and in the process of turning to go west on 4100 South when shots were fired, said West Valley police spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku.
