Man dies after rear-end crash in West Valley City

WEST VALLEY CITY — A 60-year-old man has died from injuries after his car rear-ended another vehicle Wednesday evening, police said.The man, who was not identified pending notification of family, was eastbound on state Route 201 when he drove into a pickup truck at the ramp to I-215 in West Valley City around 6 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Todd Royce.Traffic was heavy at the time of the accident, Royce said.The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died
