Man dies after he was hit by UTA train in Murray

MURRAY — A man in his 20s has died after he was hit by a TRAX train Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, whose name has not been released, had just stepped off of a train car at the Murray Central station, at the intersection of Vine and Cottonwood streets. He was wearing headphones when he was hit by a train pulling into the stop, said Utah Transit Authority Police Chief Fred Ross.
Crews rushed the man to a hospital, Ross said. He died there from his injuries.
