Man charged with abusing multiple pets in his house

SALT LAKE CITY — A man accused of killing or abusing three dogs and a cat in his house has been charged with felony animal abuse.
Leonardo Tafolla, 25, of Salt Lake City, was charged Monday in 3rd District Court with two counts of torture of a companion animal, a third-degree felony, and two counts of cruelty to an animal, a class B misdemeanor.
