Knife-wielding man arrested at parents' home

RIVERTON — A man accused of wielding a knife during an attempted robbery at a Taylorsville store is in police custody.
A SWAT team arrested Christopher Robert Ainslie, 32, at his parents' home in Riverton about 3 p.m. Monday, the Unified Police Department reported. Ainslie had barricade himself in the house on Cancun Way, police said.
The stakeout forced the closure of two blocks of 1300 West for several hours.
No injuries were reported when Ainslie was apprehended, Unified police reported
