Kaysville holding open house, public hearing on road utility fee

KAYSVILLE — Residents are invited to an open house and public hearing to discuss a proposal before the City Council to institute a monthly utility fee to maintain existing roadways.
The fee, assessed on single and multifamily dwellings, as well as businesses, would generate $2 million in new revenues.
The open house will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24, and the public hearing will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1. Both meetings will begin at 6 p.m. at the Kaysville City office, 23 E. Center.
