Jury acquits man accused in robbery, killing

SALT LAKE CITY — Two people are currently serving prison sentences connected to the 2015 shooting death of Gildardo Toledo during a robbery.
But the man who police say pulled the trigger was acquitted of murder last week by a jury.
Richard Trujillo, 29, was found not guilty Nov. 16 of murder, a first-degree felony, in the death of Toledo, 32, at the close of a four-day jury trial.
He was also acquitted of charges of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, possession of a dangerous weapo
