Final deputy in Daggett jail abuse scandal resolves case

PARK CITY — The final deputy facing abuse allegations at the Daggett County Jail has resolved the case against him.Logan James Walker, 27, was scheduled to proceed to a jury trial starting Thursday. Instead, he recently pleaded guilty plea to official misconduct, a class B misdemeanor, in Summit County Justice Court. The plea will be held in abeyance for six months.
