Farmington High School's mascot? The Phoenix

FARMINGTON — Construction of Farmington High School isn't quite complete but area students have selected the mascot of the new school: the Phoenix.
Davis School District Board of Education named the new high school in June with community input but allowed students to select the school's mascot.
Other mascots considered were the Farmers, Eagles, Firebirds, Silverback, Fox and Silverfox but Phoenix rose as the favorite.
