Erin Stewart: Local winter activities to fix the mid-January doldrums

January is the worst. Christmas festivities are over, and spring seems a million years away. As a mom, the mid-winter doldrums are real and exhausting.
So I always like to have a few family activities ready to go that will get us out of the house and out of each other's personal space for at least a few hours.
Here are some of our top go-to winter activities in the Salt Lake area:
1. Midway Ice Castles: We first took our kids to the ice castles last year, and it was like the creators of this ama
