Driver dead after truck carrying cream rolls in Logan Canyon

LOGAN — A truck hauling cream took a curve at high speed and rolled on the shoulder of the road in Logan Canyon Wednesday afternoon, killing the driver.Bruce Giddings, 60, of Logan, was traveling northbound in the tanker on U.S. 89 at about 1:30 p.m. It ran off the road between Ricks Spring and Tony Grove turnoff, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a prepared statement.
