Driver charged in double fatal crash near West High

SALT LAKE CITYThe driver of a car that killed two West High School students and severely injured a pregnant woman and her unborn child in February said he was in a hurry to get to an arcade at the time of the crash, according to charging documents.
Abraham Miranda, 18, of Salt Lake City, was charged Wednesday in 3rd District Court with two counts of manslaughter, a second-degree felony, and reckless endangerment, a class A misdemeanor.
A $500,000 warrant was issued for Miranda's arrest.
