Department institutes trial glass recycling program

SALT LAKE CITY — In an effort to be more eco-friendly, the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control will start a trial glass recycling program at the wine store at 280 W. Harris Ave. (1550 South).Beginning Tuesday, Momentum Recycling will place containers for glass bottles in the store's parking lot. Customers will then be able recycle their empty glass bottles on their next shopping trip for the next couple of months. The containers will be provided at no cost by Momentum Recycling,
