Brighton Resort will open on Tuesday

BRIGHTON — Brighton Resort will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the first ski area in Utah to begin operations as the 2017-18 season gets underway.
Recent snowfall combined with extensive snowmaking have given Brighton a base averaging between 10-20 inches on three runs serviced by two lifts — Majestic and Explorer, the resort announced in a news release.
A limited-terrain ticket rate is available at $45 for ages 11 and up. Kids 10 and under ski free with paying adult. The resort will als
