Body found near river in St. George

ST. GEORGE— Police are investigating the death of an adult female after a passerby found her body while he was on his morning walk.About 7:30 a.m. Saturday, officers from the St. George Police Department responded to 1545 S Dixie Dr. after a resident noticed a body in a wash along the side of the Santa Clara River.Search and rescue members and service dogs were also brought to the scene to help locate any additional evidence, as police believe the body may have washed downstream sometime w
