Alleged shooter in Magna killing back in Utah to face charges

SALT LAKE CITY — A man accused of firing at least 15 rounds through a basement window, killing a Magna woman over the summer, has been booked into the Salt Lake County Jail after being extradited from Texas.
Gino James Cecala, 46, of Salt Lake City, was charged July 28 with murder, a first-degree felony, in the July 16 shooting death of Paige Espinoza in Magna. A $1 million warrant was issued for Cecala's arrest.
