Acid falls off UPS truck, closes S.R. 201

WEST VALLEY CITY — State Route 201 was closed for about an hour on Tuesday after a package containing formic acid fell off a UPS truck.
The incident happened just after 11 a.m. The latch on the back door of a UPS truck traveling east on state Route 201 apparently was not secured properly and popped open, said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce. A package containing 5 liters of formic acid fell onto the road.
