83-year-old self-taught painter gets 1st solo show in Riverton

Told she didn't have talent as a youth and young adult, Woodine DeMille defied her early critics by taking up painting as a hobby, and now she is the solo featured artist at the Old Dome Meeting Hall in Riverton through Aug. 16.
