3 young sisters struck by lightning in Uintas

KAMAS — Three young sisters were struck by lightning in the Uinta Mountains on Friday.Summit County Sheriff's Lt. Andrew Wright said dispatchers received a call about 1:50 p.m. He said the incident happened sometime before that as the person who reported the lightning strike had to get to an area where there was cellphone reception.The incident occurred near the Utah-Wyoming border, about 4 miles off the Mirror Lake Highway near Lily Lake, Wright said.Three girls, ages 2, 7 and 8 were inju
