1 dead in West Valley motorcycle accident

WEST VALLEY CITY — A 26-year-old man was killed late Friday when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on 3500 South.Oswaldo Perez Lopez was headed west on 3500 South and about to cross the intersection at 4800 West at about 11 p.m. when the passenger car turning north on 4800 West hit him.Lopez was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene, West Valley police Lt.
