Woman struck by vehicle on Tucson’s south side

TUCSON (KVOA) - A pedestrian was transported to the hospital after she was struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning.
According to Pima County Sheriff's Department, the collision happened near Valencia and Swan roads.
They say the woman suffered serious injuries in connection to the incident, deputies say.
Westbound Valencia Road at Swan will be blocked as the investigation continues. Motorists should expect delays in the area.
