Spring has sprung, and that means fire weather can escalate due to the season’s warm, dry, and breezy conditions. Here is some useful information regarding this year’s fire weather season.Critical Fire Level:If a critical fire level is issued in our area, it must meet certain criteria. There must be sustained winds at a minimum of 20 mph, gusts at or above 35 mph, and a relative humidity at 15% or lower. These thresholds must be met for 3 hours or longer.
