U.S. Border Patrol releasing migrants in Arizona

YUMA, Ariz – Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents are releasing individuals and families on their own recognizance.
With the number of migrant families growing the U.S. Border Patrol is identifying detainees for potential release in Yuma. All released individuals and families will have to appear for their immigration hearing.
The capacity issue at the Yuma station is part of an ongoing humanitarian crisis nationwide. The processing centers say they are not designed to house the current number
