UPDATE: Authorities ID deputy, suspect involved in shooting near Three Points

According to a PCSD news release, 37-year-old David De La Cruz was taken to a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. The deputy involved was identified as Christopher Conniff. He has been a deputy for 18 years.
