TUSD will begin classes for all students remotely Aug. 10 following Ducey’s executive order

TUCSON (KVOA) - Tucson Unified School District announced Thursday that it plans to start its 2020-21 school year remotely as COVID-19 cases continue to spike in Arizona.On Monday, Gov. Doug Ducey issued an executive order that required schools in Arizona to delay their first day of classes to Aug. 15. In that order, the governor said that schools that wish to start earlier must "be able to conduct distance learning."TUSD shared to its families its plans for how it will approach the upcoming scho
