TUSD schools receives funds to fix fire alarm system
TUCSON – Gridley Middle School received a grant of $250,259 to fix their fire-alarm system.
The Arizona School Facilities Board approved the grant on Wednesday, the Tucson Unified School District confirmed.
The school’s alarm system stopped working in mid-December. They were put under ‘firewatch’ – which means regular, personal checks from fire officials.
