Tucson warms up to the mid 80s, but approaching storms will cool it down

TUCSON – We’re experiencing the warmest temperatures so far in 2019.\A ridge of high pressure dominated Southern Arizona, bringing the mid 80s to the Tucson Metro.
However, this ridge of high pressure is moving East, and a weather system is approaching from the west.
Expect a modest cool down starting Thursday, along with wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Friday, isolated showers will move into Southern Arizona. Rain will generally be light and remain South and East of the Tucson Metro.
