Tucson man gets 5-year prison term for 2017 fatal shooting
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A Tucson man convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting of a Tohono O’odham woman has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.
A U.S. District Court jury in Tucson found 26-year-old Warren Miles guilty in the case two months ago and he was sentenced Monday.
Prosecutors say Miles and members of his gang accosted a group of people alongside a road in Sells on the Tohono O’odham Nation on Nov. 22, 2017.
