Toledo defeats Marshall despite blowing 20-point lead

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Marreon Jackson scored with 3 seconds left in overtime and Toledo, which blew a 20-point second-half lead, defeated Marshall 75-74 on Saturday.
Toledo (9-1), winner of seven straight, was led by Jaelan Sanford’s 20 points. Jackson scored 13 and Willie Jackson added 12 points and nine rebounds.
Marshall (5-3) was led by Jon Elmore with 21 points and CJ Burks scored 17. The senior guards average 46.3 percent of the Thundering Herd’s scoring.
