Today’s Talkers: Cub rescue; dog dug out

A mother in California could only watch and worry, when police mounted a rescue to save her baby.
Officers in Truckee, California, were called in, when a bear cub became trapped in a dumpster. The pair were foraging, when the lid closed while the cub was still inside. After watching the mama bear try to open the container, people who were watching called police in to help.
Police say this is a good reminder for people in bear country to lock their garbage containers.
