MONROE, N.Y. (AP) — The Latest on the funeral of a New York police officer (all times local):

A hero’s farewell has been given to a New York City police officer killed by friendly fire during a struggle with an armed man.
Police Commissioner James P. O’Neill choked back emotion as he addressed mourners at the funeral of Officer Brian Mulkeen on Friday.
He said only one person was responsible for Mulkeen’s death: the armed man who decided to run from police.
