Seismologists have slightly revised the magnitude of a central California earthquake down to 4.7.
The quake struck at 12:42 p.m. and was centered about 16 miles (25 kilometers) southeast of Hollister in a mountain range with agricultural areas to the west. It was previously listed at magnitude 4.8.
