Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon’s chances of reaching the next round of the playoffs have ended.
Dillon hit the wall for the second time with 45 laps to go at Charlotte Motor Speedway and took his No. 3 Chevrolet behind the wall. That essentially ended his shot of avoiding elimination in NASCAR’s playoffs.
