TFD responds to east side storage unit fire

TUCSON –Fire crews responded to an east side storage unit fire Wednesday morning.
The Tucson Fire Department says they were dispatched to the 8300 block of East Broadway Boulevard. No injuries were reported.
Upon arrival, crews encountered smoke and flames coming from multiple storage units. Officials say they had to use saws to cut locks and doors.
Crews were able to control the fire in about 45 minutes, TFD says.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
