Teen drivers are more deadly with passengers
According to a new AAA report, teen drivers are even deadlier behind the wheel, when they have a passenger.
Research from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety shows the risk of dying for teen drivers with passengers jumps 45%. The crash risk goes up to 56% for occupants of other vehicle and 17% for pedestrians and cyclist.
Teen drivers were involved in more than 1,000,000 police-reported crashes in 2016, resulting in more than 3,000 deaths.
