Suspect claims prophet caricatures prompted Paris stabbings

PARIS (AP) — France’s counterterrorism prosecutor says the chief suspect in a double stabbing in Paris has claimed he acted out of anger over caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad recently republished by satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
