Suspect arrested in shooting of man in south Phoenix

PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police have arrested a 39-year-old man suspected of shooting another man in south Phoenix.
Francisco Nunez Carillo was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and other felony charges for the shooting of a 30-year-old man Friday night at a home on the 300 block of West Southern Avenue.
Phoenix police spokeswoman Sgt. Mercedes Fortune says Nunez Carillo and the victim were arguing before the shooting.
