Stricker goes low again for new Senior Open 36-hole mark

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Steve Stricker went low again Friday at the U.S. Senior Open, shooting a bogey-free round of 6-under 64 to grab the lead after the morning portion of the second round at Notre Dame.
Stricker, who opened with a record 8-under 62 to share the first-round lead with defending champion David Toms, went a Senior Open-record 14-under-par in two trips around rain-softened Warren Golf Course.
