Special Weather Statement issued September 26 at 12:55PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 1255 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm nearAvra Valley, or near Marana, moving northeast at 40 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…Marana, Dove Mountain and Oracle Junction.Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead tolocalized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.
