Special Weather Statement issued September 16 at 12:57PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 1256 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm nearTubac, moving east at 10 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…Sahuarita, Green Valley, Tubac, Rio Rico, Patagonia Lake State Park,Tumacacori, Amado, Madera Canyon and Arivaca Junction.Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead tolocalized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.
