Special Weather Statement issued October 23 at 1:56PM MST by NWS Phoenix AZ

At 156 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm nearCanyon Lake, or 10 miles southeast of Sugarloaf Mountain, movingnortheast at 20 mph.
Half inch hail will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…Roosevelt, Canyon Lake, Punkin Center, Tonto Basin, Tonto NationalMonument, Roosevelt Dam, Four Peaks, Apache Lake and Tortilla Flat.
This includes AZ Route 188 between mile markers 238 and 266.
