Special Weather Statement issued August 28 at 2:52PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 251 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15miles north of Morenci, or 17 miles north of Clifton. This storm wasnearly stationary.
Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible withthis storm.
Locations impacted include…Clifton, Morenci, Point-Of-Pines and Rose Peak.
