Special Weather Statement issued August 28 at 2:49PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 249 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12miles east of Tanque Verde. This storm was nearly stationary.
Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible withthis storm.
Locations impacted include…Saguaro National Park East and Cascabel.Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead tolocalized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.
